As new houses go up around us I'm inclined to find ways to create privacy. We positioned our home so it sits back on our modest lot and the front yard is going to be killer. The back yard leaves a little to be desired but for our needs, it's perfect. The first set of neighbors moved in last week and immediately put up a fence which I'm actually kind of excited about. There were a lot of ugly electrical boxes right down the line and luckily for us it's in their space so we no longer have to view them. It also creates just a little sense of privacy. Luckily for us the new neighbors seem nothing but delightful. Now as the next house goes up right behind us we hope for the same. So todays post was inspired by a wall I enjoyed during a meal the Red Door Grill in Leawood. I thought it was an excellent design that created a fun space that essentially is in a parking lot. The other pictures are outdoor walls that inspire good design. I'm a ways away from finishing out backyard living space due to that darn budget but it's never too early to get ideas. Happy Monday!
